As we explained in the notices we sent to you on March 19, 2024 and April 19, 2024, the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is winding down. As a result, unless Congress provides additional funding for the ACP, your April 2024 bill will be the last one to which full ACP benefits will be applied. Tone, however, plans to offer service with a partial ACP discount for an additional month, through May 2024, for customers who wish to receive it.
Please note that, if you choose to continue receiving services from Tone in May 2024, the ACP program will provide a partial discount of $14, while you will be responsible for paying $16. For you to continue receiving services from Tone in May 2024, you must provide your affirmative consent.
Please review the two statements below:
1. I acknowledge that have reviewed the information contained in the March 19, 2024 and April 19, 2024 notices from Tone and in this email, which have disclosed to me that I will be responsible for paying $16 if I continue receiving services from Tone in May 2024.
2. I agree that Tone may continue providing ACP service to my household in May 2024 and may charge me $16 for that service.
If you agree with both the statements listed above, please sign below as soon as possible.
If you do not wish to continue receiving services from Tone, you can have your service transferred to another provider or may discontinue service.
Please note that, if you do not affirmatively opt in to receiving service from Tone or notify Tone of your wish to transfer to another provider by April 30, 2024, Tone will conclude that you are discontinuing your services as of May 1, 2024, and your service will be disconnected as of May 1, 2024.
Tone will also send you a separate communication, asking you if you would like to opt in to receiving services from Tone after May 2024, when the ACP funding will be fully exhausted. After May 2024, the price to receive broadband services from Tone will be $19.99 per month.
